Grandmother Marisa's Dolls

Vetren is a small village in Bulgaria, more or less one hundred kilometer Sud-Est from Sofia, the capital. It is one of the most poor region of this Country.

Vetren's Orphanage gives hospitality to 96 childs from 2 month to 4 years old, attended to loving personal from Government.

What the childens don't need is the help or the love of the Director and the workers. The problem is that there is the scarcity of structures, food, medicines, nappy...

The toilets, the kitchens, the laundry are rusting and it appears like neglected. The structure is not so old, positioned inside a big park (neglected too).

A very big project is realizing for Vetren: a heal house, bright play rooms, confortable bed rooms, a clean park and lot of games for 100 childs that don't have parentes, but they are smiling and waiting for us.

Some teams of volunteers (alternate in Vetren) are working in this project, to one of them belong to my father Francesco and my mother Marisa.

My mother does this dolls, that becomes the Orphanage's symbol.
